CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Carl Stout has joined the team at Martin Woodworking Machines Corp.

Stout earned a bachelor's degree in German language, then decided on a career in the woodworking industry – working for several custom laminate and cabinet shops. His experience motivated him to pursue a degree in woodworking technology from Kansas' Pittsburg State University, which has one of the most acclaimed four-year programs in the United States.

After graduation, he chose a career in woodworking machinery. Stout moved to North Carolina and worked for a large German machinery company, solving complex technical and sales-related problems. With his in-depth knowledge of solid woodworking process, he is a strong addition to the Martin team.
